Richard "Dick" Morgenstern

Richard "Dick" Morgenstern, 82, of New Cambria, Kansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019. Richard was born in Salina, Kansas on December 19, 1936, a son of the late Clare (Dobratz) and Richard Morgenstern, Sr. Dick proudly served in the United States Army and returned home to grain farm in Saline County. Survivors include his wife, Donna (Moore) Morgenstern of the home; daughter, Julia Lankhorst, (Alex), of Salina and son, Darrell Morgenstern, (Amy), of Salina. He is also survived by grandchildren, Travis Morgenstern, Haley Morgan (Jamie), Dylan Morgenstern; step-grandchildren, Jordan Lankhorst, Shelbi Lankhorst; great grandchildren, Alexander Morgan, Jason Morgan, Scarlett Morgan, step great grandchild, Lyric Jacobs. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Morgenstern. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has been chosen. Graveside service at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 9th, at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Kansas Mental Health Center or Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank, in care of the funeral home.
