Richard F. Adams

Richard Francis Adams, Sr Salina, Ks Richard Francis Adams, Sr, 78, of Salina, passed away Friday, February 22nd, at Hospice of Salina. Richard was born in Washington D.C. on January 10, 1935, to the late Margaret Elizabeth (Young) and Earl Leroy Adams. He was an iron worker for 40 years in the Washington D.C. area. Richard served in the Navy during the Korean War as a flight mechanic. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Karen (Lupher) Adams. Richard is also survived by three sons; Richard Adams Jr. of Lindsborg, Rodney Adams and Ronald Adams both of Salina. Also surving him are two granddaughters, Jennifer Adams of Jacksonville, Florida and Ashleigh Adams of Hays, Kansas. The family will greet friends from 6-7 on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Carlson Geisendorf Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
