Richard G. Hoye

Richard Garry Hoye, 73, of Gypsum, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, August 20th, 2014. Richard was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on July 26, 1941, to the late Olga M. (Dunn) and Robert Lawrence Hoye. He worked as a Construction Worker. Rick was an avid car enthusiast. Richard is survived by a son, Rick Hoye, of Nashville, Tennesse; four sisters, Paulette Cain of Wichita, Christine Jones of Norman, Oklahoma, Kathleen Schorling of Salina, and Victoria Katz of Key West, Florida as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, with Pastor Jon Fillipi, officiating. Interment will follow at All Saint's Catholic Cemetery. There is no visitation planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
