Richard "Rick" Bunce

Mr. Richard James 'Rick' Bunce, 69, of Salina, passed away Sunday, September 18th, 2011 at his residence. Rick was born in Omaha, Nebraska on June 29, 1942, the son of the late Walter and Jeanne (Alexander) Bunce. Rick was a career veteran of the United States Navy. He retired in 1996 at the rank of Storekeeper First Class. He attended Emmanuel Christian Center in Salina, and was a long time Salina resident. Mr. Bunce is survived by his daughters; Tracy Bunce of Salina, Ricki Bunce of Oradell, New Jersey; and Tammie Halpain of Hagerman, New Mexico; five grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has been selected and there will not be any visitation. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.
