Robert Glen Prater Sr., 83, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018. Robert was born in Salina, Kansas on June 4, 1934, a son of the late Wilda Mae (Driscoll) and Cecil Prater. He worked as a Construction Superintendent, working with several companies on many big projects all over the state of Kansas including Banks, Schools, and Hospitals. Survivors include two daughters, Kim Barkley (Steve), of Salina, Kansas; and Lori Wells (Jeff), of Salina, Kansas; two sons, Robert Prater Jr. (Stacy), of Assaria; and John Prater (Wanda), of Arkansas City, Kansas; two sisters, Doris (Bill) Boyd, of Assaria, Kansas; and Janice (Dave) Ditto, of Abilene, Kansas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Tye, Jenna, Jessi, Joel, Matt, Dawna, Michael, Kelsey, Christian, and Jolene; and 4 great grandchildren, Tayton, Trey, Bayleigh, and Maverik. He is Preceded in death by his wife Margie; his parents; and a grand daughter, Jordan. Memorial Service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, January 27th at First Church of the Nazarene, 1425 S. Ohio St. Salina, Kansas with Rev. Jon M. Fillipi officiating. His final resting place will be Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St. Salina, Kansas.
