Rose Marie Engling

Rose Marie Engling, 91, of Luray, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, April 13th, 2022. Rose Marie was born in Lucas, Kansas on June 22, 1930, a daughter of the late Luella F. (Beatty) and Charles A. Casper. She graduated as salutatorian from Luray High School in 1949. On Sept. 3, 1950, Rose Marie married Orval Robert Engling in Luray, Kansas. Survivors include her husband, Orval Engling; daughter, Susan E. Winter (Jeff), of Wichita, Kansas; two sons, Orval R. Engling Jr. (Nancy), of Lawrence, Kansas, Danny R. Engling, of Salina, Kansas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Florene Steinle (Edward), of Salina, Kansas, and Bertha Hilmer (Raymond), of Harrisburg, South Dakota. Rose Marie is preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Bartlett, Katherine Casper, and Charlene Wright; four brothers, Don Terry, Z.W. Casper, Clifford Terry, and Charles Casper Jr. Cremation has been chosen. Services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Luray Senior Center, 200 N. Main St., Luray, Kansas 67649.
