Seon Whitaker

Seon A. Whitaker, 57, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Saturday, March 9th. Seon was born in Salina, Kansas on January 5, 1962, a son of the late Daisy M. (Gray) and Step-father Herman Jefferson. Survivors include his wife, Joyce; sisters, Patricia Burse (James), and LaLita Whitaker (fiance, Ishmael Bass); brothers, Albert (Sherry), Alvin (Debbie), and Leroy (Tammy) Whitaker; and children Sianna, Hannah, Josef, Jennifer, and Angelina. Seon is also survived by 7 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Seon Jr. The family will hold a memorial service at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church, 215 S. Chicago Street, Salina, Kansas, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 16th, with Pastor John Curtis officiating. Memorials may be made to Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
