Shirley Ann Livingston, 88, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Saturday, January 20th. Shirley was born in Denver, Illinois on August 1, 1929, a daughter of the late Hazel Irene (Aten) and John Dierk Claassen. She was the widow of Walter E. Livingston Sr. They married on July 24, 1948, and they were married for 51 years. Survivors include five daughters, Barbara, (Ronnie) Stadler, of Salina, Kansas; Patricia (Charles) Helms, of Pensacola, Florida; Anita (Richard) Hall, of Panama, South America; Dianne Shy, of Arcadia, Missouri; Mary Jane, (Rick) Titus, of Cypress, Texas; and two sons Gene, (Mary) Livingston, of Kempner, Texas; and John Livingston, of Salina, Kansas. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, step mother, two sisters, and four grandsons. Cremation has been chosen and there will be private family services at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Society sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St. Salina, Kansas.
