Terry Pixler

Terry L. Pixler Terry L. Pixler, 72, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, June 9th, at Salina Regional Health Center. Terry was born in Denver, Colorado on July 28, 1940, son of the late Freda (Kimerer) and Marion Pixler. He retired from the United States Army, 21 years served, and from PKM Steel of Salina. Terry was the husband of Heide (Dax) Pixler and she survives. Survivors also include a daughter, Daniela Newman, and husband Harvell, of Topeka, Kansas; two sons, Raymond Pixler and wife Kim, of Topeka, Kansas; Allan Pixler, and wife Robin, of Oxford, North Carolina; Grandchildren, Reileen and Michael of Topeka, Kansas; Chase and Avery of Oxford, North Carolina; great grandson, Easton of Topeka, Kansas; Step-Grandchildren, Dyon, Dene, Daniel, Brandon, and Carly of Topeka, Kansas; brothers, Philip Pixler and wife Lois of Salina, Kansas, Jerry Pixler and wife Sharon of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 4 step-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Ralph Hartzell; granddaughter, Shiela Pixler. At the family's request there will be no services as cremation has been chosen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1432, 1108 E. Crawford, Salina, Kansas.
