Thomas Franek

Thomas Franek, 74, of Glasco, KS, died January 29, 2014 following an extended illness. Thomas was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 15, 1939, to Pauline (Kochis) and John Franek, II. Mr. Franek graduated from Calhan High School in Calhan, Colorado, and retired from the State of Colorado Department of Transportation in 1994. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Lola Ann Franek; children, Lyle Franek, of Alaska, Kandi Smith, of Loveland, Colorado, Dale Franek, of Fort Collins, Colorado, Kristi Franek, of Glasco, Kansas, Thomas M. Franek, II, of Beloit, Kansas, and Dusten Crichton, of Omaha, Nebraska; siblings, William J. Franek, of Berthoud, Colorado, and Margie Martinez, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; as well as 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Franek, daughter, Kethilynne Innis, and brothers Andrew, Tony Franek., and John Franek. Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned.
