Valerie Joan Winkel, 74, of Beloit, Kansas, passed away Sunday, September 6th, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas. Valerie was born in Belleville, Kansas on February 3, 1946, a daughter of the late Daphne (Johnson) and Lloyd Trimble. She was an RN for over 30 years. Survivors include three daughters, Whitney Lingo, of Salina, Kansas, Paula DeGraff, of Salina, Kansas, Shannon Osmun, of Beloit, Kansas; son, Jeff DeGraff, (Kelly), of Marlboro, Maryland; and brother, Gary Trimble, of Haltom, Texas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded by her sister, Judy Press. Cremation has been chosen. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the United Methodist Church, 116 N. Nash St., Glen Elder, Kansas 67446. Donations may be made to the World Wildlife Federation or the Friends of the Salina Animal Shelter, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina, Kansas 67401.
