Verna Louise Waugh Verna Louise Waugh, 84, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, August 24th, 2021. Verna was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 7, 1936, a daughter of the late Grace (Allison) and Ernest Berndt. She is survived by a daughter, Jamie Mikel of Atchison, Kansas; step - son Gary Waugh and a brother Ernest Berndt both of Salina, Kansas; two grandsons, Trent Thompson, Nicholai Thompson, both of Atchison, Kansas Verna is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Waugh January 02, 1996. A Viewing will be held 11:00:00 to 1:00:00 on Thursday, September 2nd. at the Grace Baptist Temple, Salina, Kansas. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 2nd at Grace Baptist Temple in Salina, Kansas with Rev. Matt Parnell officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Salina, Kansas.
