William A. "Bill" Dotterer

William Amos 'Bill' Dotterer, 82, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016. Bill was born in Kiowa, Kansas on September 24, 1933, to the late Alta (Beadman) and Charles Dotterer. Bill was a graduate of Kiowa High School. He served his country in the United States Army, and was a farmer for most of his working life. Bill is survived by his daughter and caregiver, Cindy Dotterer, and his grandson; Michael Dotterer, his wife Gypsy, and their four children all of Lincoln, Kansas. They have been by his side over the past 10 years, through his long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Other survivors include; Debra McReynolds, Charlene Johnson, Sue McKinney, Carol Hardy, Stacy Dotterer; Sheila White, Marsha Belt, Bill Nash, over 30 grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jean; step son, Richard Nash; step daughter, Yvonne Longpine; brother Robert Dotterer; and sisters, Betty Cellars and Donna Mae Reiger.
