William Eric Lorenson Sr.

William Eric Lorenson Sr., 60, of Assaria, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, October 8th. Bill was born in Salina, Kansas on July 13, 1954, son of the late Lea (Ehrets) and James Lorenson, Sr. He worked as an Owner/Operator at Lorenson Welding Machine Company in Salina, Kansas. The company has been in the family for 4 generations. Survivors include two daughters, Abbie Whitaker, of Salina, Kansas, Chelsie Lorenson, of Salina, Kansas; son, William Lorenson Jr. and wife Celicia, of Salina, Kansas; brother, Lindy Lorenson, of Salina, Kansas; two sisters, Donna Lorenson, of New York, Kimmy Lorenson, of Salina, Kansas; grandchildren, Shadae and Shakhi Whitaker, William III, Kendall, Channing, and Paysen Lorenson, and Damian Mendiola. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Lorenson, Jr. The family has requested no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at New Community Christian Church, Salina, Kansas, at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 18th, with Pastor Dave Henry officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina, Kansas.
