William Howard Burrows Jr., 49, of Salina, passed away, Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, William was born Feb. 23, 1962, in Salina, KS. He is survived by his parents William and Patsy Burrows; daughter, Lindsey Padilla and her husband Travis, of Salina; son, Ryan Burrows of Salina; sister, Debbie Porter, of Salina; sister, Pam White of Lincoln NE; granddaughter, Kailee Padilla and grandson, Camden Padilla; nieces Jamie Wheeler, of Salina and Samantha White, of Lincoln, NE; as well as nephew Chris Porter of Salina. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Helen and Albert Burrows and Bandit the dog he loved. William was raised in the Salina, where he went to Central High. He worked at the family business, Bennigton Locker as a meat cutter, at Great Plains as a painter for 15 years and Tony's Pizza. A memorial for family and friends will be held at the First Christian Church, 2727 East Crawford St., Sunday, Sept. 11th at 2:00 pm. William's wishes were to be cremated. Carlson-Geisendorf, 500 S. Ohio, Salina is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in William's name to the charity of the donor's choice.
