William Richard Thompson

William Richard Thompson, 69, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 5th, 2018. William was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on April 23, 1949, a son of the late Lyda (Strickland) Bower and Lonnie Lee Thompson. He served in the United States Army for a number of years. Survivors include his daughter, Corrina Chard and husband Todd; son, Aaron Thompson, both of Salina, Kansas; and sister, Patricia Baldwin, of Holland, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Mathew, Dominic, Ryder; and granddoggie, Sativa. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 17, at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church.
